George Dussault, the founder of Galilee Productions, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, engineer and composer. Over the last 17 years his work in each of these fields has been featured on countless CD releases and in hundreds of live performances. As a music educator, he teaches guitar, bass and music theory to over forty students weekly.

As far as he remembers, George has always had a passion for music. He began collecting records and tinkering with tape-recorders as a child, fascinated with the recording process. He began playing guitar at age five, and for the next 17 years was trained formally by legendary guitarist Leo Desautel. During that time he also taught himself bass, mandolin, banjo, piano and drums to better than professional proficiency. George began performing publicly at age 10, winning several awards for his guitar playing. At 16 he took on his first students, at 17 he was the lead guitarist in a band of 30-somethings, he played his first tour at age 18, and released his first CD at 21.

By the time he was in high school, George had amassed a huge collection of recording equipment and instruments and he set up a small studio in his home, where he began recording his own projects and other local bands. This in the days before everyone owned a computer with a "studio" inside. His reputation grew, and soon he was recording and gigging by night and going to school by day.

After graduating high school in 1989, George concentrated on his musical efforts exclusively, expanding his small studio to a larger facility and performing with area bands such as The Chosen Few, Strider and others. His studio, started as a hobby, gradually became a full time business, and this without the aid of advertising. By 1996 his name had already appeared on several hundred releases as an engineer, producer and musician.

Realizing his full-time future lay in the music industry, in 1998 George attended the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH. He graduated in the top ten percent of his class, earning the personal recommendation of dean Jim Rosebrook. He returned to Rhode Island, quit his day job and became a full time musician and engineer, freelancing at other studios as well as recording at his own. Since then, his already long list of accomplishments has more than tripled. At the time of this writing, George is working on five album projects simultaneously, while still maintaining his teaching career and performing regularly with several regional acts and finalizing his own new album.

With a diverse clientele ranging from the primal punk of Von Ryans Express to the sophisticated jazz of the Joe Parillo Quartet, from rock and roll with the Dino Club to the classical underpinnings of Brian Sparks, George has honed his engineering skills and production philosophy.

To quote George himself, "When I'm hired on to help produce a project, I see myself as part of the team. I don't believe in imposing my 'vision' on the artist, but I also don't believe in holding anything back from them. We all bring all of our ideas and abilities to the table, we leave our egos at the door and we bring the best out of each other."

George owns a home in Rhode Island where he lives with his wife and four children.
